The National Alliance for Public Charter Schools will be holding it 2017 National Charter School Conference this year in Washington DC at the Washington Convention Center which is just a short Uber, Lyft, Taxi, or Metro ride away from our DC Bed & Breakfast.
The National Alliance for Public Charter Schools the leading nonprofit that helps the advancement of the charter school movement. Across America today, there are more than 6700 charters schools and their goal is to see that number make it to 10000 by the year 2020. They are lead advocates for the increased public funding of charter schools, something that has been in the news already loads this year.
The 2017 National Charter School conference looks to bring excitement again to education like it did last year in Nashville, bringing together more than 4500 people to help fan the flame of the charter school movement. This year will be full of keynote speakers, such as Netflix CEO Reed Hastings, 130 breakout sessions, numerous opportunities to network with others in the same field and also a day to lobby for the cause on Capitol Hill, getting to share with Congressman and Senators.
