A premier event is coming to DC this December at the Marriott Marquis and Convention Center. The Association of Old Crows is having their annual symposium: 52nd Annual AOC International Symposium and Convention. This is a short, but sweet, gathering that will take place from the 1st to 3rd of December. But, this one is a big deal. Attendees come from all around the world who are electronic warfare and information operations professionals.
The AOC mission is to provide an organization for individuals in STEM fields. But to narrow it down, their focus is in areas like electromagnetic spectrum management operations, information operations, cyber electromagnetic activities and more. But you get the picture. It’s long names that make no sense except for those in the field.
But the rather interesting kicker in this group, it was started by ex-officers who served in the Strategic Air Command. The first meeting goes back to 1964 when it was looked at as a small reunion of sorts. Now 40 years later, AOC is still alive and holds gatherings to accommodate a massive quantity of people. Not bad indeed.
By attending this symposium, you’re helping not just progress the membership of AOC, but also participating in national security.
