Whoever said that you can’t have fun while doing good, if anyone ever said that, had clearly never heard of the 20th Anniversary Covenant House Gala, 2015 aka “A Night of the Stars.” Taking place on June 4th at the Howard Theatre in Washington D.C., as the name suggests the evening is intended to dazzle and inspire, both through the remarkable performances taking place and through the good work being celebrated and supported that night.
The Covenant House Washington is an organization that provides support and services to the homeless, runaway, and at-risk youth in the Washington D.C. area, however is connected to Covenant House International which works throughout the world to help the most vulnerable transition into their adult lives successfully, regardless of what has come before them. With guest performances by Broadway stars such as Capathia Jenkins and with news anchor and reporter Aaron Gilchrist as Master of Ceremonies, the evening is sure to be a great celebration and a worthy and successful fundraiser for all.
Contact information about the event can be found near the bottom of the gala page here.
