Their expansive and unique collections provide a unique glimpse into the lives of African Americans throughout history.
There a wide-variety of exhibits to explore, and new collections are always emerging, but a few of the must-see exhibits currently on display include: “A Century in the Making”, “Defending Freedom, Defining Freedom”, “Cultural Expressions”, “Making a Way Out of No Way”, “Musical Crossroads” and “Slavery and Freedom”. These exhibits include one-of-a-kind collectable items, rare photographs, and so much more that makes this a truly immersing and impactful experience.
