December is an exciting time in DC. Christmas lights stream from building to building; warmer layers get piled on chilled limbs; the air smells like snow; and time seems to slow from moment to moment. But we’ve exciting news to announce: the festivities this December also come in the form of a nonprofit symposium: 27th Annual Nonprofit Finance & Accounting Symposium (NFPS27).
Registration is still open for this awesome event. YOU can be an attendee from December 2nd to the 4th at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center. Come as a guest and no preparation or prerequisites are necessary. The objective of this meeting is simple but necessary. Get updates on the ever changing field from regulations to technology. Obtain necessary tools and skills to help make smart business decisions. Gain resources from the community and network. Giving yourself time to network and mingle helps you down the road, too.
So there are many reasons to come, but you’ll have to formulate your own goals. It’s great to come to any symposium, but it’s even better to come with a clear mind on what it is you want the next few days to do for you. Have fun, enjoy your peers, and learn.
